Our terms of service

Welcome to LOFAQ™ Tools (the "Platform"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, which offers a wide variety of online tools including but not limited to image converters, Whois lookups, reverse IP tools, measurement unit converters, and more. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you affirm that you are either over the age of 13, or if under 18, that you are using the Platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, including premium or subscription-based tools, you may be required to create an account. By creating an account, you agree to:

You may subscribe to different plans offering various benefits or access to premium tools. Subscription fees and details are outlined on our pricing page. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees as outlined when you register for a paid plan.

4.3 Payment

All payments for subscriptions must be made in advance. Payment information must be accurate, and you agree to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate your access if your payment is not successfully processed.

4.4 Cancellations and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time. However, no refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a subscription period unless required by applicable law.

5. Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with the following restrictions:

  • You will not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could disable, damage, or impair the Platform.
  • You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, accounts, or systems.
  • You will not use automated systems (e.g., bots, crawlers) to interact with the Platform unless expressly permitted.
  • You will not use the tools for spamming, hacking, or any other malicious activity.

6. User-Generated Content

Some tools may allow you to upload, submit, or share content. By doing so, you agree that:

  • You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, distribute, and display that content as necessary for the operation of the Platform.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must not post anything illegal, offensive, or that infringes on third-party rights.

7. Advertisements

The Platform may display advertisements. By using the Platform, you agree to the display of these advertisements, whether targeted based on your usage or otherwise. Any interactions with third-party advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser. We are not responsible for any loss or damage related to such interactions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and tools available on the Platform are protected by intellectual property laws. Unless expressly stated, you do not have the right to reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The Platform may include links to or integrations with third-party websites, services, or tools. We are not responsible for the content, functionality, or practices of third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to the terms and policies of the respective third parties.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Failure to pay subscription fees.
  • Any unauthorized use of the Platform.

Upon termination, any rights or licenses granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately. You will remain responsible for any fees due.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform and all tools, services, and content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Platform or its tools. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LOFAQ™ Tools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profit, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us for your use of the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LOFAQ™ Tools, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ghana.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
